Special Kids, Special Times

Provision for:

-kids time to play and interact

-sibling support

-parents’ free time

Summary:

Our third program is a respite care program called Special Kids, Special Times. Beginning in February 2003, we began providing parents an opportunity to get away from their children for a short time in order to take care of themselves or other family members. The statistics related to our families and the challenges they face are rather discouraging. We want to do everything possible to help them stay healthy. Giving them a break from time to time is one small thing we can provide.
